Our Vessel Types

Lingen Forwarding & Logistics maintains and operates a diverse fleet of liquid cargo vessels, each designed for specific route profiles and cargo requirements. Here are four core types in our fleet:

Inland Tankers

Purpose-built for Europe’s intricate network of inland waterways and rivers, these double-hulled tankers are designed for high maneuverability, low draft, and energy efficiency. Ideal for regional deliveries of diesel, gasoline, and MGO to landlocked terminals.

Short-Sea Tankers

Optimized for coastal shipping routes, short-sea tankers bridge the gap between larger ocean-going ships and inland terminals. These vessels are essential for moving mid-sized cargoes between ports like Rotterdam, Hamburg, Antwerp, and Fujairah, ensuring swift turnaround and operational flexibility.

Chemical/Product Tankers

These tankers are equipped with stainless steel or coated tanks for sensitive petroleum-based chemicals and specialty fuels. Their design supports multi-cargo separation, onboard heating, and advanced vapor recovery—making them ideal for high-specification cargos.

Bunker Barges & Shuttle Tankers

Used for ship-to-ship refueling and short-haul shuttle services between refineries, terminals, and offshore platforms. Bunker barges are essential for fuel bunkering operations at ports like Jurong and Houston, while shuttle tankers streamline supply chain logistics between smaller depots.
